Patient Plus Urgent Care Clinic, a Baton Rouge-based urgent care services provider, just began welcoming patients to its second location. Located at 7353 Jefferson Highway, across from Towne Center, their ‘Bocage’ development is a welcome sight to anyone in need of quick, reliable treatment for common illnesses and injuries.
Developing Baton Rouge was invited to attend the grand opening and was able to get a tour and snap a few photos. Check out our notes and photos below:
Patient Plus really emphasized the openness of their office. You’ll notice in the photos there aren’t any long hallways or tucked-away rooms. Rubin Patel, MD and Vishal Vasanji, creators of Patient Plus, wanted an atmosphere that lets patients feel at ease – lots of natural light, glass doors and windows for every patient room so you can see the daily operations and not begin to wonder if the staff forgot about you. Of course, once the doctor does come to visit, an in-room curtain is drawn for privacy.
Light, neutral interior colors are used throughout the development and line up well with this kind of industry. The facility is decked out with the latest tech gear including a state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine for faster scans and easy image retrieval. Rubin and Vishal’s goal is to open many more outposts like this across Baton Rouge and they couldn’t be doing it at a better time. Growing trends in healthcare suggest that people, now more than ever, want to be seen by doctors as quickly as possible. Patient Plus is ready to accommodate.
