Downtown Baton Rouge getting new Sonic prototype

Sonic is opening a new concept restaurant and a local headquarters office at the intersection of South 10th and Government streets downtown. Donnie Jarreau acquired the land for $750,000 late last year, and is developing the site for local franchise group owner Larry Tucker, who operates more than 20 Sonic locations in the market.
